Spanish Interwebs

Okay, so this won't be a very long entry, but I thought it would be cool to explain what exactly it is that I'm doing at this moment while I'm uploading these entries.
It is 3:28 and I've been sitting on a concrete bench in a park between the avenue- El Paseo Bomba for more or less than an hour. Its about 50 degrees out and I'm sitting in a sweatshirt. I don't have internet in my home so anytime I want to get online I have to either walk 20 minutes (at a very brisk pace) to the school, or find a place where I can "Steal" wireless. Right now, I happen to be in a park, outside some apartments. Its probably the most conspicuous thing I've done in Spain so far...

This is what I told Alyssa this morning:
I'm in a park in Granada outside a bunch of apts. in the middle of town (sorta...the resident. area) and I'm wearing a hoody, and sunglasses, with my laptop on my lap, my bag is next to me, and i'm listening to daft punk.
....doesn't get much more hacker style than that.

Don't get me wrong though. I'm no hacker. Hell, I don't think I'd be able to even FIND the interface module to even start hacking... let alone be able to talk about this without having to make up words. No, I'm just a guy in need of an internet connection, so I take what I can get.

Its weird having to sit in a park with cars driving around in order to use the internet. But the web is expensive here... so they say. I'm going to try and talk my senora into setting it up in the Apt. though. Would save me a lot of time. (Just for uploading pictures and entries... and having access to an extensive online dictionary)

Until then though I guess I'll be getting plenty of sunlight.

Paul
